My Inside The Actor’s Studio Interview (if I had one)

Happy Friday, folks!

My cast member interview for Atlanta’s inaugural performance of Listen To Your Mother has been posted! You can read it here. Felt like I was sitting across from James Lipton, except I wasn’t answering the famous ten questions – oh, and I didn’t cry … well maybe on the inside.

For those of you who can’t wait for my official “Inside The Actor’s Studio” transcript, here you go:

1. What is your favorite word?

Yes

2. What is your least favorite word?

No

3. What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?

Television and film turn me on creatively. The storytelling from each gives me great ideas for my own work.

Spiritually old cathedrals and ancient churches. I enter and feel the presence of God immediately. I don’t know if it’s the history or the ornamentation (or in some cases the lack of ornamentation), but I feel at peace in those environments and awakened by God’s will.

Emotionally those Sarah McLauchlan commercials with dogs get me every time.

4. What turns you off?

Little girls’ clothes with writing across the bum – I mean, really? So wrong.

5. What is your favorite curse word?

Miley

6. What sound or noise do you love?

I love the sound of rain and the sound of thunderstorms even more so.

7. What sound or noise do you hate?

Birds. I hate the sound of birds. Maybe I watched too much Hitchcock as a kid.

8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

Anything for the Travel Channel.

9. What profession would you not like to do?

Anything involving math.

10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

So glad you could join us.
