Breaking Bad? Uh … yes, please!

Recently I found myself abandoned in Fort Collins. About 1500 miles from the place I called home, holed up in my sister’s house, lost and relatively alone (Clifford renovating the bathroom doesn’t exactly count as company), I felt I was being caged in a split-level abode with nothing but a few take-out menus and the Roku for camaraderie. What was a girl to do?

A “friend” and I had agreed, upon my return to civilization, to watch Breaking Bad together through Netflix as we seemed like the last two on Earth who had yet to be introduced to the wondrous world of Walter White. I use the term “friend” loosely because apparently said “friend” was three seasons in while I was wasting away in Colorado eagerly anticipating, but patiently and considerately awaiting, the day I would begin watching the show with my good tv buddy“friend”.  A true friend, like me, would have waited. But that’s beside the point. They’d watched, so I would watch. I had some time on my hands…

37 hours of Breaking Bad in two days.  A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I couldn’t look away (and I’m slightly competitive so I felt like I needed to at least make it to season 4). LOVED IT! My only regret is that I actually passed out on the couch for a few hours which prevented me from watching more.

Breaking Bad – MUST SEE TV!

I did eventually return home. The marathon made the captivity worth it. I still have the final 8 episodes to go, and yes I am sure I could find them somewhere to watch now, but I’m going to wait till they hit Netflix this spring. It will be worth the wait, I’m sure, and will give me something to look forward to during allergy season.

PS Did I mention I see Winnebago meth labs EVERYWHERE now? Especially in Indiana?
